new jobs.
exciting, but a pain in the ass.
back in '97 when i first started out, i was told i would spend the first year learning the architecture and the network. i scoffed. six months later, i was humbled. six more months later, i was comfortable.
same situation, different company, and around about 39,850 less employees. again, i'm told, it'll be 6 months before i really get into things.
proceedures, policies, source locations, software, etc - the drudgery that will become second nature, all have to be relearned.
and then there's the whole 'learning C' thing which is coming along nicely, but i got a long way to go.
i hope the next 12 months go by rather quick.

Pizza
Wow, just found out that there is NO pizza hut that will deliver to our new address, reason? Too far from delivery area.
This sucks. Pizza hut is my favorite delivery pizza.
